At Jan van Eyck Academie (2026), rori has begun to examine the possibilities of thinking and acting through soil to engage with conflicts over land, social reproduction, and the collective organization of life from the ground up. The project brings soil “uprisings” into dialogue with broader histories of peasant resistance, communal self-organization, and struggles for land and autonomy across different historical and geopolitical contexts.
rori is co-initiator of That Might Be Right, a founding member of the artist cooperative Level Five, and a 2024–2026 participant of the De Appel Curatorial Programme on Lumbung Practice.
